mother-son date

Kevin and I had a date tonight at the city's activity center.

It was specifically for moms and their sons in honor of Mother's Day.

Besides the cool jungle safari theme...

we danced the night away. We did the freeze dance, hokey pokey, YMCA and the macarena, just to name a few. There was a DJ, games, arts & crafts and yummy food.

The best part about the whole evening was when all the boys were directed to leave the room and all the moms had to go on the dance floor. When the boys came back in, the Dj was playing "At Last" and the boys all walked in with a single rose in their hand on a mission to find their mom. Kevin found me in tears of course. It was a great evening.
